Jessica McMurtry

From the age of 13, Jessica has dreamt of being a sign language interpreter. She distinctly remembers what it was like to see a sign interpreter at a concert. She knew that is what she would do with her life. From then on, she immersed herself in the Deaf Community and in ASL.

Jessica graduated from Palomar Community College Interpreter Training Program in May 2014. Since 2015, she has worked professionally in the field, working in various settings and gaining experience in educational interpreting, theater interpreting, pro-tactile interpreting, and VRS interpreting, just to name a few.

While adhering to professional standards and ethics, Jessica provides interpreting services that allow her clients to communicate smoothly,  and naturally. She is happy to provide services that connect the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Hearing communities.
